Phosphorous

"P" of the NPK formula is Phosphorous, where the percentage will tell you weight that is in the mix.  PlantGlo is a 9-18-9 mix, thereby making the percentage of Phosphorous at 18%.

Plants need phosphorus to produce fruits, flowers, and seeds. It also helps make your plants more resistant to disease. Phosphorus doesn't dissolve like nitrogen. The soil will hang onto phosphorus, not releasing it into water. What this also means is that plants get their phosphorus from moving their roots through the soil, rather than drinking it in with water.

Its important that the PlantGlo solution gets to the plants roots so that the Phosphorous can do its "magic".
